Union Roadways is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker Packer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
Picking Orders: Accurately pick products from the warehouse according to order specifications.
Packing Orders: Safely and securely pack products for shipment, ensuring that items are protected and properly labeled.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by keeping track of stock levels and reporting any discrepancies.
Quality Control: Inspect products for any damage or defects before packing.
Shipping Preparation: Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, weighing, and documenting shipments.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration:



Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipping documentation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
