A Day in the Life
Medtronic is seeking a Principal IT Architect – Hyperautomation to provide enterprise architecture leadership for AI-driven automation solutions across business and IT functions. This role will define architecture strategy, standards, and governance for scalable, secure, compliant, and reusable solutions leveraging GenAI, AI/ML, Intelligent Automation, RPA, Process Mining, Workflow Automation, Integrations, Data Platforms, and Cloud Technologies.
As a senior technical leader, you will partner with business, enterprise architecture, security, data, platform,



and delivery teams to translate high-value opportunities into enterprise-ready solutions that improve productivity, optimize processes, and accelerate automation adoption.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Define and govern enterprise Hyperautomation architecture, standards, and reusable patterns.
- Design scalable solutions leveraging AI/ML, GenAI, RPA, Process Mining, workflow automation, integrations, data, and cloud platforms.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to develop solution roadmaps and reference architectures.
- Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and complex design decisions.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, data governance, and Responsible AI standards.
- Architect integrations across enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and cloud environments.
- Influence platform strategy, vendor roadmaps, and emerging technology
