n AirBuddy Aerospace is growing its manufacturing team! We are looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing & Fabrication Engineer / Senior Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Fabrication Engineer who can set up manufacturing processes from prototype to production.
n
n Experience Required:
n ▪️ 5–10+ years in manufacturing, fabrication, and production engineering
n ▪️ Experience in setting up manufacturing processes from prototype to production
n
n Core Responsibilities:
n ✅ Plan and execute manufacturing processes
n ✅ Develop fabrication methods for mechanical components
n ✅ Select suitable manufacturing processes based on design requirements
n ✅ Handle CNC machining, turning, milling, and fabrication activities
n ✅ Coordinate with machine shops and fabrication vendors
n ✅ Develop SOPs and work instructions
n ✅ Supervise fabrication and assembly operations
n ✅ Optimize production time and manufacturing costs
n ✅ Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing issues
n ✅ Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
n ✅ Manage production planning and scheduling
n ✅ Inspect fabricated components before assembly
n ✅ Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
n ✅ Lead shop-floor teams and technicians
n ✅ Ensure workplace safety and compliance
