Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tele Caller role based in Kolkata.

The Tele

Caller will make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce Glyptic’s fire safety and security products and services, respond to inbound inquiries, and provide clear information about offerings, pricing, and basic technical features. Daily responsibilities include maintaining call logs, updating customer records in the CRM, following up on leads shared by the sales team, and scheduling appointments or demonstrations for field representatives. The role involves handling customer questions, identifying potential business opportunities,



and escalating complex queries to the appropriate team members.

The Tele

Caller will collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to support lead generation, customer engagement, and overall business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak clearly, listen actively, and build rapport over the phone.
- Basic computer literacy, including comfort with CRM tools, call-tracking systems, and email or messaging platforms.
- Customer service orientation, including patience, problem-solving abilities, and a professional approach to handling objections or concerns.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage call volumes, follow-ups, and accurate data entry.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, collaborate within a team, and meet call and conversion targets consistently.
- Previous experience in telecalling, telesales, or customer support is beneficial, especially in fire safety, security, or related industries.
- Minimum educational qualification at the high school level; additional training in sales, customer service, or communication is an advantage.
- Comfort communicating in English and local languages spoken in Guwahati to engage a broad customer base.
