The Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, developers and delivery teams to translate business requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions.

You will provide technical leadership across the full solution lifecycle—from discovery and architecture through development, integration, deployment and ongoing optimisation.

The ideal candidate will combine strong solution architecture capabilities with hands-on technical knowledge, particularly across modern web platforms, React, Contentful, APIs, cloud technologies and enterprise integrations

Key Responsibilities

- Lead solution architecture and technical design across client projects.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Define web application, integration, data and cloud architecture.
- Design modern digital platforms using React, Next.js and Contentful.
- Define Contentful content models, platform architecture and integration approaches.
- Design APIs and integrations between digital platforms, enterprise applications and third-party services.
- Develop solution architecture diagrams, technical specifications and integration designs.
- Establish architectural patterns, technical standards and development best practices.
- Work closely with frontend, backend, DevOps,



QA and business analysis teams.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to development teams.
- Review technical designs and development approaches to ensure quality, scalability and maintainability.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and architectural constraints early in the project lifecycle.
- Design and support cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Ensure solutions incorporate appropriate security, performance, availability and resilience requirements.
- Support website and application performance optimisation, including scalability and Core Web Vitals.
- Participate in technical discovery workshops and client stakeholder meetings.
- Assist with technical estimation, solution planning and project scoping.
- Evaluate current technologies and recommend improvements to existing client environments.
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, technical proposals and estimations where required.

Required Experience & Skills

We are looking for strong experience across:

- Solution Architecture / Technical Architecture
- Modern web application and digital platform architecture
- React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Contentful and headless CMS architecture
- Next.js or similar modern web frameworks
- REST APIs and API-led integration
- Microservices and distributed application architecture
- Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
- CI/CD and contemporary DevOps practices
- Authentication, authorisation and identity integration
- Application security and secure development principles
- Performance,



scalability and high-availability architecture
- Enterprise and third-party system integrations
- Technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Agile software delivery environments

Experience with technologies such as .NET, Node.js, Netlify, Algolia, Cloudflare and Salesforce will be highly regarded.
