Job Summary The Cybersecurity Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality cybersecurity training to students and professionals through practical, hands-on learning. The trainer will prepare course materials, conduct lab sessions, assess student performance, and mentor learners to build industry-ready cybersecurity skills.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led training in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, penetration testing, and network security.
Conduct practical lab sessions using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Train students in cybersecurity concepts, including:
Ethical Hacking
Penetration Testing
Network Security
Web Application Security
Linux Fundamentals
Windows Security
Digital Forensics (basic)
Malware Analysis (basic)
Cloud Security (basic)
Guide students in cybersecurity projects and Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges.
Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and practical exercises.
Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
Provide career guidance,



interview preparation, and certification support.
Update training content based on the latest cybersecurity threats and industry trends.
Maintain training records, attendance, and progress reports.
Collaborate with the academic and placement teams to ensure successful student outcomes.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Experience with tools such as Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, and other security tools.
Positive understanding of OWASP Top 10, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners.
Solid problem-solving and mentoring abilities.
