Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day inward material receiving activities.
Receive and verify materials against Purchase Orders (PO), invoices and delivery challans.
Check quantity, identification and basic condition of received materials.
Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team for incoming material inspection.
Ensure timely and accurate GRN (Goods Receipt Note) processing.
Coordinate with Stores, Procurement, Purchase and QC teams for material movement and clearance.
Maintain proper inward documentation and material records.
Ensure materials are properly identified, tagged and moved to the designated storage area.
Maintain records of received, rejected, pending and inspected materials.
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors regarding discrepancies, shortages or damaged materials.
Support inventory accuracy and proper material traceability.
Follow company procedures related to stores, inventory and material handling.
Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all inward transactions.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience in Material Inward / Material Receiving / Stores Operations.
Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or project-based organization.
Good understanding of PO, Invoice, Delivery Challan and GRN processes.




Knowledge of inventory and material management processes.
Experience coordinating with QC, Procurement, Stores and suppliers.
Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP is preferred.
Valuable documentation and record-keeping skills.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple material receipts and coordinate with different departments.

Preferred candidate profile
36 years of relevant experience in inward/material receiving/stores operations.
Engineering background preferred Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
Candidates from Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Engineering, Material Handling, Project Manufacturing or similar industries preferred.
Experience in handling inward materials in a project/manufacturing workplace will be an advantage.
Candidates with practical knowledge of GRN, PO verification, material inspection and inventory processes preferred.
