Role & responsibilities
Maintain and update employee records, attendance, leave management, and payroll management.
Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Factory Act, and other labor laws applicable to pharmaceuticals manufacturing units.
Coordinate and administration for time office management, shift scheduling, and manpower planning.
Support the implementation of HR policies, performance management systems, and disciplinary procedures.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and welfare activities at the plant level.
Ensure smooth HR audits and inspections (cGMP, ISO, and statutory).
Maintain liaison with local authorities and labor/Govt departments when required.
Prepare monthly HR reports, dashboards, and analytics for management.
Plant infrastructure and facility management
Supervise administrative staff and support services (e.g. reception, pantry, transport) Monitor employee transport and ensure effective routine, punctuality.
Employee life cycle management
Preferred candidate profile
In-depth knowledge of Factory Act, Labor Laws, and Statutory Compliances
Familiarity with HRMS / Payroll software (e.g., Orange Technolab, Saral & Matrix or similar)
Experience in Pharma or Manufacturing industry (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with plant and corporate teams
