Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, statutory compliance, payroll, and related finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, good attention to detail, and hands-on experience with GST, payroll, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
Prepare and analyse Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and related schedules.
Manage direct and indirect expenses, reserves, and proper expense classification.
Process payroll, salary disbursement, and statutory deductions including PF, ESI, PT, and TDS.
Handle GST return filing, input tax credit reconciliation, and compliance tracking.
Support import/export-related accounting and documentation.
Perform tax, interest, and other statutory calculations accurately and on time.
Assist with internal and statutory audits and provide required documentation.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-company balances regularly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:




2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
Robust knowledge of accounting principles, ledger maintenance, and financial statements.
Hands-on experience with GST, payroll, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is mandatory.
Working knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software is preferred.
Good analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
Robust attention to accuracy and deadlines.

Preferred:
Knowledge of import/export documentation and compliance.
Exposure to statutory and internal audits.
Experience with TDS returns and other statutory filings.
Familiarity with ERP/accounting software such as Zoho Books, SAP, or Busy.
Experience in a fast-paced or multi-entity accounting environment.
