Key Responsibilities
Conduct chemical composition analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous materials using Spectrometer.
Perform and monitor Hardness Testing, Tensile Testing and other material tests.
Analyze raw material, in-process and finished component quality.
Verify material composition as per customer specifications and applicable standards.
Support foundry processes including melting, pouring and heat treatment.
Monitor and control metallurgical parameters to achieve required material properties.
Investigate casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage, blow holes, cracks, inclusions and cold shuts.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis for metallurgical and casting-related defects.
Maintain test reports, inspection records and material certificates.
Ensure calibration and proper functioning of laboratory/testing equipment.




Coordinate with Production, Quality and Foundry teams for process improvement.
Support NCR, CAPA, 5 Why and corrective action activities.
Prepare and maintain metallurgical test reports and documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and customer requirements.
Support continuous improvement and reduction of rejection/rework.
