Job Summary

Cyient, Inc. is seeking an experienced Offshore SACS Engineer specializing in Civil & Structural disciplines. This role involves performing structural analysis and design for offshore platforms and structures using SACS software, ensuring compliance with relevant industry codes and standards.

Job Responsibilities

Execute structural analysis and design of offshore structures (e.g., jackets, topsides, foundations) using SACS software.

Develop structural models, perform static and dynamic analysis, and conduct fatigue analysis.

Interpret analysis results, prepare detailed design reports, and provide technical recommendations.

Ensure all designs comply with international codes and standards such as API, AISC, DNV, and ISO.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including naval architects, mechanical, and piping engineers.

Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and resolve complex engineering challenges.

Prepare technical specifications, scope of work documents, and material requisitions.





Conduct structural integrity assessments and support construction and installation activities.
Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in offshore structural engineering.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Ocean Engineering.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore structural engineering, with a robust focus on SACS software.

Proficiency in using SACS for structural analysis, design, and fatigue assessment.

In-depth knowledge of international offshore structural design codes and standards (e.g., API RP 2A, AISC, DNV-OS-C101).

Experience with other structural analysis software (e.g., Abaqus, ANSYS) is a plus.

Robust understanding of steel design, connection design, and foundation engineering principles for offshore applications.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is desirable.
