Role Description The Service Manager – CNC/VMC Machines will oversee service operations for CNC and VMC equipment, ensuring timely installation, commissioning, maintenance, and breakdown support for client sites. This full-time, in office role based in Coimbatore involves managing service schedules, coordinating with technicians and vendors, and maintaining service records and documentation.

The Service

Manager will diagnose technical issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during all service activities. The role includes close collaboration with clients to understand service requirements,



provide technical guidance, and support performance optimization of CNC/VMC machines.

The Service

Manager will also contribute to process improvements, spare parts planning, and training of service team members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge of CNC and VMC machines, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess skills in service operations management, including scheduling, documentation, vendor coordination, and resource planning.
- Candidates should possess abilities in client relationship management, communication, and problem-solving to handle service queries and escalate issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with industrial safety standards, quality procedures, and compliance requirements in manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline, along with relevant experience in machine tool servicing.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using diagnostic tools, reading technical drawings, and working with basic computer applications for reporting and documentation.
- Candidates should possess leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide service technicians, support training, and promote continuous improvement.
- Experience in industrial project environments or with multiple machine brands and controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi) will be considered an advantage
