Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
Maintain a live record of current inventory - what we hold, what is running low, and what is already on order
Compare current stock against planned stock levels and raise orders only where there is a gap
Collect and compare quotes from vendors for the parts and materials specified by the design team
Visit material markets across Mumbai to locate parts, meet suppliers and collect samples
Find new and hard-to-find parts - identify who makes or stocks them and work out how to get them procured
Identify and onboard current vendors, and keep the vendor register updated with contacts, rates and lead times
Track every order from placement to delivery, and flag delays before they hold up a build




Share a weekly update on stock position, open orders and recent vendors added
