Senior Video Editor (Full Time – Remote)

Pixelplay Creative Agency is looking for a talented and detail-oriented video editor to bring our clients' visions to life through powerful, high-quality video content. This is a full-time remote, contract-based role. If you're passionate about storytelling, have a strong creative eye, and can consistently deliver polished edits, we'd love to see your work.

Qualifications

- 3–4 years of proven experience in professional video editing.
- Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Must have strong color grading skills and be capable of delivering professional cinematic color work.
- Strong understanding of visual rhythm, pacing, and storytelling.
- Robust portfolio demonstrating storytelling, editing quality, and creative execution.
- Excellent attention to detail and project organization.




- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Must be based in Colombo or within easy travelling distance, as occasional in-person file handovers and media transfers may be required.
- Bonus: Experience working with creative agencies or brand campaigns.

What You'll Do

- Create podcast-style reels with strong graphic design and animation skills. (Essential Requirement)
- Edit and deliver engaging video content for Reels, ads, social campaigns, podcasts, and branded stories.
- Work from creative briefs and scripts to bring concepts to life.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, sound design, and professional color grading.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure consistency across all client content.
- Maintain organized project files and an efficient editing workflow.
- Deliver projects on time while managing multiple deadlines.
- Stay up to date with editing trends, formats, and platform best practices across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

This is a full-time remote contract position.
