Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counselling to children and adolescents.
Assess emotional, behavioural, social, and psychological concerns through appropriate counselling techniques.
Develop and implement age-appropriate counselling and intervention plans.
Support children dealing with academic stress, anxiety, behavioural concerns, family issues, peer relationships, self-esteem, and other psychosocial challenges.
Conduct regular counselling sessions, follow-ups, and progress assessments.
Maintain confidential and accurate case records, counselling notes, and reports.
Identify cases requiring specialized psychological or psychiatric intervention and make appropriate referrals.
Work closely with teachers, mentors, parents/guardians, and other relevant stakeholders while maintaining professional confidentiality.
Conduct awareness sessions/workshops on topics such as mental well-being, emotional regulation, stress management, life skills, and healthy relationships.
Support the development of a positive and psychologically safe environment for children and adolescents.
Participate in institutional initiatives related to child protection, well-being, inclusion, and psychosocial support.
Maintain strict skilled ethics, confidentiality,



and appropriate boundaries while working with beneficiaries.

Educational Qualification
Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized institution.
Candidates with a Clinical Psychology qualification will be preferred, subject to applicable professional/regulatory requirements.

Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years of relevant skilled experience in counselling/psychological support.
Demonstrated experience in working with children and adolescents is essential.
Strong counselling, active listening, observation, and communication skills.
Ability to build trust and rapport with children and young people.
Positive understanding of child and adolescent emotional and behavioural development.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Strong documentation, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, non-judgmental, and empathetic approach.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
