Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
Provide transparent instructions to patients regarding medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
Maintain proper records of medicines issued, received, and returned.
Ensure proper storage of medicines according to required temperature and safety conditions.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of medicines.
Check expiry dates and remove expired/damaged medicines as per hospital policy.
Maintain controlled-drug and high-alert medication records where applicable.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists regarding medication-related queries.
Assist in inventory audits and periodic stock verification.
Follow hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and infection-control and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
