Role & responsibilities
Execute assigned audit engagements in line with BDO methodology and agreed timelines.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS, ensuring completeness of notes and disclosures.
Lead audit assignments and coordinate with clients for planning, scheduling, and execution.
Organize and participate in client meetings and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
Identify and resolve audit and accounting issues in consultation with the engagement team and clients.
Assist Managers and senior team members in engagement delivery, reporting, and audit closure activities.
Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and qualified manner.
Demonstrate robust teamwork, collaboration, and effective problem-solving skills.
Take ownership of assigned work, feedback, and continuous professional development.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with articleship experience or relevant pre-qualification experience in Audit & Assurance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Robust computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
