SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE:

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Lead Generation: Identify and map potential B2B clients including fabricators, engineering units, builders, and infrastructure projects.

Enquiry Generation: Visit industrial hubs daily to secure Request for Quotes (RFQs). Map, visit, and generate business from manufacturing units, structural fabricators, engineering companies, and project contractors across Chennai industrial belts.

Technical Knowledge: About Steel Pipe, Seamless Pipes, Stainless Steel Pipes & its specification.

Technical Consulting: Understand client requirements.

Price Negotiation: Handle objections, pricing, credit terms, and delivery timelines

Payment Collection: Follow up regularly with clients to ensure timely payments and maintain a healthy cash flow.

Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, current project announcements, and stock availability in the local market.





Relationship Management: Ability to build trust with purchase managers, site engineers, and business owners.

Existing Rolodex / Contacts: They must demonstrate immediate access to purchase managers and decision-makers in and around industrial clusters in Chennai and nearer places.

Portfolio Conversion: Instead of just generating cold leads, should quickly poach or divert recurring steel pipe and tube orders from competitors to the firm.

Commercial Acumen & Credit Risk: Because the market have volatile pricing and credit cycles, must know how to balance aggressive turnover with safe credit tracking, avoiding or minimisie bad debts.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in Tamil is essential for daily field operations and contractor relationships. Good conversational English/Hindi is a must.
