Job Purpose To install, operate, maintain, and repair the centralized kitchen's mechanical, electrical, and steam/boiler equipment, ensuring uninterrupted and safe kitchen operations for daily meal production.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily start-up checks and secure operation support for boilers, steam-based cooking equipment, bulk cookers, conveyors, and other kitchen machinery.
Perform routine preventive maintenance as per schedule (lubrication, cleaning, calibration, safety valve checks) to minimize breakdowns.
Diagnose and attend to equipment breakdowns promptly to avoid disruption to the production schedule; escalate major faults to external vendors/OEMs where required.
Maintain electrical panels, motors, pumps, and utility connections (water, steam, LPG/PNG) in protected working condition.
Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown records, and spare-parts usage/inventory in coordination with the Store Executive.
Ensure all statutory safety checks (boiler certification, fire safety equipment, electrical safety) are current and compliant.




Train kitchen staff on basic safe usage of equipment and immediate do's/don'ts in case of a malfunction.
Support installation/commissioning of new equipment during kitchen set-up and periodic upgrades.

Educational Qualification ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning (or equivalent trade certification); boiler attendant certification is an added advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of industrial/commercial kitchen equipment, boilers, or steam-based systems, preferably in a food processing, catering, or manufacturing workplace.

Key Skills & Competencies
Hands-on skill in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Working knowledge of boiler and steam systems and related safety norms
Basic record-keeping for maintenance and spares
Ability to respond quickly to breakdowns, including outside standard hours if required
Safety-conscious work practices

CTC Range:- 20-25K Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
