Job Description – Service Engineer

Location: Sanand, Gujarat

Position: Service Engineer – Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics

Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification.
Freshers with good technical knowledge and learning ability may also be considered.

Job Responsibilities:
Attend field service calls and provide timely technical support.
Provide breakdown support at customer sites.
Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of:
Resistance Welding Systems
Tightening Systems / DC Nutrunner Systems
Identify electrical and electronic faults and take appropriate corrective action.
Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting using electrical tools and instruments.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Maintain proper service records and report breakdown/service activities.
Follow safety procedures and company guidelines while working at the plant.

Must-Have Skills:
Positive reading and writing skills.
Fluent communication in Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
Valuable learning capability and willingness to learn current technologies.




Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Should be familiar with basic electrical tools such as:
Multimeter
Screwdriver
Tester
Basic electrical/electronic hand tools
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently at customer locations and handle breakdown situations.

Preferred / Value-Added Skills:
Experience in Electrical / Electronics testing and troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
Experience in Resistance Welding Systems or DC Nutrunner/Tightening Systems will be preferred.
Previous experience in automotive manufacturing plants will be an added advantage.
Local candidates from Sanand/Ahmedabad with their own two-wheeler will be given preference.
Candidates with a two-wheeler and valid driving licence will be considered an added advantage.
