GENERAL SUMMARY

The Logistics Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing logistics operations across domestic and international markets. This role ensures effective movement of goods, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective freight management. As a key leader within the supply chain function, the Logistics Manager drives operational excellence, fosters team development, and builds a high-performance culture that directly contributes to business growth and customer satisfaction.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Lead and inspire the logistics team to achieve operational goals and exceed performance expectations.
Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company objectives for cost, delivery, and service quality.
Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Letters of Credit,



and contractual shipping terms.
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of shipping documentation and commercial invoices.
Monitor logistics KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve logistics-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Negotiate freight contracts and optimize transportation costs.
Coordinate Returned Material Authorization (RMA) processes and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain and update standard operating procedures and ensure team adherence.
Conduct regular audits of freight bills and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with warehouse managers to align shipping volumes and resource allocation.
Champion sustainability and safety initiatives within logistics operations.
Support transportation-related projects and strategic initiatives.
