The Compliance Officer will support the India Compliance Lead in implementing and strengthening the Compliance Program for India Commercial. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and industry codes of conduct. The incumbent will act as a trusted business partner by providing day-to-day compliance guidance, reviewing promotional and healthcare stakeholder activities, monitoring compliance controls, conducting training, and supporting governance initiatives.
The position requires robust stakeholder management, sound knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance practices, and the ability to build a proactive compliance culture across the organization.
Essential Functions
Support the India Compliance Lead in implementing and maintaining the Compliance Program for India Commercial.
Review and approve HCP, HCC, patient support, and marketing activities in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Draft, update,



and implement compliance policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on evolving regulatory requirements.
Conduct compliance awareness programs, employee training, and communication initiatives to promote an ethical culture.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are embedded in business processes.
Assist in automating compliance workflows and governance processes.
Conduct periodic compliance monitoring and internal reviews to assess effectiveness of internal controls and identify compliance risks.
Maintain compliance records, documentation, and data in accordance with company policies.
Coordinate and support quarterly India Compliance Committee meetings, including preparation of governance dashboards and reports.
Maintain the annual compliance governance calendar and ensure timely execution of planned activities.
