Job Description – Senior Academic Counsellor

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective learners in choosing the right academic programs and support them throughout the admission journey. The ideal candidate will possess solid consultative selling skills, excellent communication, and a proven track record of achieving revenue targets in a B2C environment.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students on UG, PG, certification, and executive programs.
Understand learners career aspirations and recommend suitable programs.
Manage the complete admission lifecycle from lead qualification to enrollment.
Conduct counselling sessions via calls, video meetings, emails, and WhatsApp.
Consistently achieve monthly revenue, enrollment, and conversion targets.
Maintain accurate records and sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Build long-term relationships through timely follow-ups and student engagement.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless admission experience.




Stay updated on program offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities.

Requirements
2–6 years of experience in B2C sales, admissions, or academic counselling.
Experience in EdTech, higher education, or university admissions is preferred.
Proven ability to achieve revenue and enrollment targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, LeadSquared, or similar.
Solid ownership, customer-centric approach, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven workplace.
