Azure Cloud DevOps and Infrastructure Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Azure Cloud DevOps and Infrastructure Lead to spearhead our cloud infrastructure and DevOps initiatives. Industry experience: 8 - 15 years.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a solid leader with deep technical expertise in Azure services, infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for automation and operational excellence. You will guide a team, set best practices, and drive the adoption of DevOps principles across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to ensure effective and reliable software delivery.
Oversee the monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for Azure resources, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues.
Implement and enforce security best practices, compliance standards,



and governance policies across the Azure environment.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Bicep to automate provisioning and configuration.
Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle and foster a culture of shared ownership.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of DevOps engineers and cloud specialists.
Drive continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure, processes, and tools, staying abreast of current Azure services and industry trends.
Manage cloud costs and optimize resource utilization to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for critical infrastructure issues.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Define and implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for cloud-based systems.
