WE ARE HIRING – ACCOUNTANT

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with robust hands-on knowledge of Tally, accounting operations, Balance Sheet preparation, GST and TDS compliance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records.
Handle accounting entries, vouchers, ledgers, and journal entries in Tally.
Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS) and reconcile ledger accounts.
Handle GST calculations, reconciliation and return compliance.
Manage TDS calculations, deductions and return compliance.
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual account closing.
Maintain proper documentation for audit and statutory requirements.
Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports as required.




Coordinate with auditors, consultants and other stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com preferred).
Strong working knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime.
Positive knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
Practical experience in Balance Sheet and P&L; preparation.
Knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial reporting.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Robust analytical and numerical skills.
Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with relevant experience in accounting, taxation, GST/TDS compliance and finalization of accounts will be preferred.

The ₹40,000–₹45,000/month range is broadly consistent with current Mumbai postings requiring Tally, Balance Sheet, GST and TDS skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
