ABOUT THE ROLE.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency of all plant machinery, equipment, and utilities through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, driving TPM and continuous improvement initiatives, managing maintenance resources and budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements while leading and developing the maintenance team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
He is responsible for preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all equipment and machinery in plant
He is responsible for tooling management. He is responsible for providing company level data.
He is responsible for identification and implementation of continual improvement projects
He is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality systems in his area.
He is responsible for providing quality related training to maintenance and tool store personnel.
He is responsible for finalizing technical specs for machining & fdy equipment’
The effectiveness of the training is evaluated.
He is an key member in new projects and recent equipment installation
He ensures positive house keeping and good working workplace.
He is authorized to initiate and implement corrective and preventive action arising out of product , process or quality system non- conformities.
He is a member of APQP Team
JOB REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with 10 to 12 yrs exp
Technical & People Skills :
Hands-on experience with CNC machines
Expertise in Fanuc & Siemens control systems
Strong background in core maintenance and grinding machines
Project management and machine installation experience
Responsible for end-to-end machine lifecycle
Procurement to installation
Team management (4 direct reports)
