Job Summary

Dock Social is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to create engaging video content for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and client projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent editing skills, a robust sense of storytelling, and experience producing high-quality short-form and long-form videos.

Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, and corporate videos.
Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, background music, and branding elements.
Enhance video quality through color correction, audio balancing, and visual effects.
Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to execute creative concepts.
Organize and manage video assets efficiently.
Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.




Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and social media content formats.

Required Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
Robust understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
Knowledge of social media platforms and platform-specific video formats.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills
Experience creating marketing and promotional videos.
Knowledge of animation and motion graphics.
Basic understanding of AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage.
A solid portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects.
