Job Title: Microbiology Lab Intern
Organization: Valiyath Institute of Medical Science

Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities
Assist in microbiological tests, including sample preparation, culture, and identification of microorganisms.
Follow standard laboratory protocols for sterilization and equipment maintenance.
Record and document laboratory observations with accuracy.
Learn and adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance practices in the lab.
Collaborate with senior lab personnel for day-to-day activities.
Support in research and clinical diagnostic activities as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of microbiology techniques and laboratory practices.
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
Positive communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.
