Patient Counseling: Educating patients on proper drug use, dosages, storage, side effects, and potential interactions.
Medication Therapy Management: Monitoring patient drug therapies, reviewing for interactions, and advising physicians on optimal treatments.
Inventory & Operations: Organizing the pharmacy, managing stock, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with laws.
Health Services: Providing immunizations (like flu shots) and offering advice on general health, exercise, and managing stress.
Collaboration: Working with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists to improve patient outcomes.
Supervision: Overseeing pharmacy technicians and interns.
