Job Description:
As a Nurse at Manipal Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a quick-paced healthcare workplace. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during examinations, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining accurate patient records. Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patients? health status and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Provide wound care and assist with medical procedures
Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure quality care
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe patient environment
Skills and Tools Required:
Registered Nurse (RN) license with a valid state accreditation
Proficiency in basic and advanced nursing skills
Solid knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and patient management software
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
Previous nursing experience in a hospital setting
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required
