Role Overview

The Project Manager – Civil will oversee civil engineering aspects of electrical substation EPC projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery. This role requires expertise in civil construction for substations, strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
Lead civil works execution for electrical substation projects, including foundations, structures, and site development.
Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and budgets for civil activities.
Coordinate with electrical teams to align civil works with overall project requirements.
Manage contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure adherence to specifications and timelines.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality norms, and statutory regulations.
Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and provide guidance to field teams.
Monitor progress, control costs, and report project status to senior management.
Oversee procurement of civil materials and ensure timely delivery.
Liaise with clients, consultants,



and stakeholders for approvals and project updates.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
8–12 years of experience in civil project management, preferably in electrical substation or power infrastructure projects.
Robust knowledge of civil construction practices, structural design, and site management.
Proven ability to manage EPC projects with multidisciplinary coordination.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Staad Pro etc.).
Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.
