Job Title: Machine Operator

Department: Production

Reports To: Shift Supervisor / Production Manager

Job Summary

The Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure effective, secure, and high-quality production. The role involves following standard operating procedures, meeting production targets, and maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
Operate machines and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ensure production targets are met within given timelines
Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities or breakdowns
Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Record production data, downtime, and material usage accurately
Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Support continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives
Comply with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations





Qualifications & Skills
Minimum education: Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical
Basic knowledge of machine operations (manufacturing / production)
Ability to read and understand instructions and safety guidelines
Willingness to work shifts (day/night/rotational)
Physically fit to handle standing work and manual tasks
Attention to detail and quality awareness
Good teamwork and communication skills

Experience
Fresher or 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
(Experience requirement may vary based on machine complexity)

Working Conditions
Factory/plant workplace
Rotational shifts may be required
Exposure to noise, heat, or machinery (safety equipment provided)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
