ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, configure, and maintain MSSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and PostgreSQL databases.

Monitor database performance, tuning, and optimization for high availability.

Manage database security, backup, and recovery strategies.

Perform database replication, clustering, and failover configurations.

Troubleshoot database-related issues and optimize queries as needed.

Manage database storage, indexing, and partitions efficiently.

Work closely with infrastructure and network teams to ensure database uptime.

Implement best practices for database access control and security policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

BCA or MCA with Database knowledge

PREFERRED SKILLS

Experience in cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).





Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, MySQL DBA Certification, or

PostgreSQL Certification.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Experience handling large-scale databases in a data center or enterprise setting.

Ability to automate database administration tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python preferred).

Pay: ₹352,401.69 - ₹462,836.47 per year
