About the Role

Mahaveer Constructions is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for residential construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in purchasing Civil and MEP materials, vendor management, price negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites.

Key Responsibilities
Procure Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and other construction materials.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material procurement.
Coordinate with Project Engineers, QS, Stores, and Accounts teams.
Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with vendors to avoid project delays.
Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and purchase documentation.




Ensure quality standards and specifications are met before procurement.
Track market prices and recommend cost-saving prospects.
Resolve supply, quality, and delivery issues with vendors.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of Civil and MEP construction materials.
Robust vendor development and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of procurement processes and purchase documentation.
Ability to analyze quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/Purchase Management Software.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong planning, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
