Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Storage Administrator to manage and support IBM Mainframe Storage environments. The role involves storage administration, migration, replication, disaster recovery, performance optimization, and ensuring SLA compliance in a production workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and support IBM Mainframe Storage infrastructure.
Perform DASD-to-DASD and Tape-to-Tape storage migrations.
Manage storage replication and disaster recovery activities.
Configure and manage SMS, ACS routines, VTOC, and storage datasets.
Perform backup, restore, storage optimization, and capacity management.
Troubleshoot storage issues and perform root cause analysis.
Maintain storage procedures, documentation,



and operational standards.
Support Copy Services, GDPS, and recovery testing.
Ensure adherence to SLAs and operational processes.

Required Skills
6+ years of experience in Mainframe Storage Administration.
Experience with DASD and Tape Storage Administration.
Solid knowledge of z/OS, TSO, ISPF, JCL, VSAM, JES2, SDSF, REXX, and Catalogs.
Hands-on experience with DFSMS, DFSMShsm, DFSMSdss, ICF Catalog, IDCAMS, and VSAM.
Knowledge of Storage Replication, GDPS, Disaster Recovery, and Storage Monitoring tools.
Experience in production support and incident management.

Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience supporting enterprise production mainframe environments.
