We are looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer with experience in Gear Measuring Machines, Gear Inspection and Calibration.

Key Responsibilities
Installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of Gear Measuring Machines and Instruments.
Understand and interpret mechanical drawings, gear drawings, dimensions, tolerances and basic GD&T;.
Valuable knowledge of spur, helical, internal, external, bevel gears, worm gears and splines.
Understand gear parameters such as module, pressure angle, helix angle, profile, lead, pitch, runout and backlash.
Perform machine calibration, probe calibration and accuracy verification.
Diagnose mechanical and measurement-related problems and identify root causes.
Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and gear inspection/metrology.
Understand measurement reports, profile/lead/pitch graphs and measurement results.
Prepare service,



calibration and customer visit reports.
Provide technical support and training to customers.
Willingness to travel to customer locations for installation, service and calibration.

Experience in gear manufacturing, gear inspection, gear measuring machines, metrology, calibration or machine-tool service will be preferred.

Note: Practical knowledge of gears, gear measurement and calibration is highly preferred. Candidates with only general CNC maintenance experience may not be suitable.
