Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator withstrong hands-on experience in MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. The idealcandidate will be responsible for database availability, performance,monitoring, maintenance, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting across productionenvironments.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of hands-on DBA experience inproduction environments.

Robust experience with MySQL and MS SQL Serveradministration.

Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server HighAvailability.

Strong experience with MySQL Replication,troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Good understanding of database backup, restore,recovery, and disaster-recovery practices.

Experience with database monitoring andperformance-tuning tools.

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to independently troubleshoot andresolve production database issues.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor database health, performance,availability, and capacity using appropriate monitoring tools.





Perform routine database administration,maintenance, upgrades, and optimization.

Manage and troubleshoot MySQL replication andhigh-availability settings.

Manage MS SQL Server High Availabilityconfigurations and troubleshoot related issues.

Perform and validate database backups andrestores, ensuring data recoverability.

Analyze database performance and proactivelyidentify opportunities to improve stability, scalability, and performance.

Troubleshoot database incidents and providetimely resolution for business-critical issues.

Maintain database security, configuration,documentation, and operational standards.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure,and application teams to resolve database-related issues.

Availability

Expected availability between 8:00 PM IST to 5AM IST

Ability to respond to and supportbusiness-critical database issues outside regular hours, when required.
