Role: Credit Manager MSME LAP
We are seeking an analytical and risk-conscious Credit Manager to scale our MSME Loan, Machinery loans and Against Property (LAP) portfolio. You will be the financial gatekeeper, balancing business growth with impeccable risk mitigation.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Underwriting & Risk Analysis
Evaluate high-value LAP loan and Machinery loan proposals for MSME borrowers.
Analyze complex financial statements, tax audits, and cash flows.
Assess borrower repayment capacity through banking and GST analysis.
Conduct detailed risk assessments regarding industry and market trends.
Verify collateral valuation reports and legal vetting documents.
Detect and mitigate potential fraud risks through strict verification.

Policy Compliance & Portfolio Hygiene
Align all underwriting decisions with corporate credit policies.
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
Monitor portfolio quality to minimize non-performing assets (NPAs).
Maintain impeccable credit hygiene across all loan files.




Implement corrective actions based on internal audit findings.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with Sales teams to understand client profiles.
Structure viable loan deals without compromising credit parameters.
Coordinate with Operations for timely and accurate loan disbursements.
Interact with credit verification agencies and legal vendors.
Present complex credit cases to higher sanctioning authorities.
Desired Candidate ProfileExperience & Qualifications
Minimum Experience: 5+ years in LAP or Machinery loan underwriting specifically.
Segment Focus: Proven expertise handling MSME customer segments.
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, CA, or MBA Finance.

Technical & Operational Skills
Solid understanding of collateral evaluation methods.
Deep knowledge of banking regulations and financial analysis.
Proficiency in loan origination systems (LOS) and credit software.
Excellent balance sheet analysis and ratio analysis skills.
