Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for monitoring the safety activities in the plant

Job Description:
Monitor the developed SOPs for EHS department and empowering all employees to adhere

to reach Zero harm.
Impart specific trainings on Safety and Safety induction training to current employees.
Conduct Internal and external trainings as per the training calendar.
Ensure statutory requirements with regards to Safety and maintain legal Register.
Conduct Lux & Noise level monitoring as per defined frequency.
Ensure Employee Periodical Medical health checkup.
Control number of non-conformances with legal or internal standards in safety

inspections and update observation in GMP portal.
Conduct Safety Mock exercises as per schedule (Fire Safety drill once in two months,

Mock drill once in six months)
Conduct Internal, External Safety audit, Plant inspection as per the SOP
Prepare HIRA for various activities, products, services, coordination with plant team and

observation to be addressed.
Conduct Safety committee meeting once in three months

• Identify yearly CAPEX / OPEX requirements. Follow & complete Safety related CAPEX

completion as per the schedule





• Conduct Safety awareness programs / Campaigns like National Safety Day

• Conduct Quarterly Contractors meeting on the prevailing issues on safety once in three

months and monitor their compliance.

• Participate in internal and external trainings

• Ensure the work permit system followed as per the SOP

• All critical safety equipment working condition need to be checked on defined frequency &

checklist

• Ensure PPE purchase as per specification and maintain Sufficient stock.

• Compliance manager shall be compiled within timeline.

• Accident & incident to be reported immediately without any delay and should be updated

as per SOP.

• Safety reports shall be submitted to Immediate in charge as per the requirements.

• Conduct pre-safety audit report for any process change which was observed from

management of change.

Experience:

Educational qualifications: M.E / MTech in Industrial safety, Diploma in Safety from RLI / CLI,

Degree from State approved institute

Experience: Min 1 years To 5 years
