Key Responsibilities
Product Inspection: Check items across various stages (casting, filing, stone setting, polishing, and plating) for surface flaws, scratches, or color mismatch.
Specification Verification: Compare finished items against approved CAD designs, weight measurements, and stone 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, carat).
Defect Management: Segregate defective items, log rejections, and coordinate with workshop or manufacturing teams for immediate rework.
Documentation: Maintain audit logs, daily inspection reports, and inventory pass/fail tracking sheets.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum), gemstone grading, and manufacturing processes.
Tool Proficiency: Ability to use loupes, microscopes, electronic weighing scales, and precision calipers.
Attention to Detail: High visual accuracy to spot micro-defects in prong settings, polish,



and symmetry.
Experience: Typically 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a jewelry manufacturing or gemological testing setting
- Role & responsibilities
QC Executive / Inspector: Inspects raw materials and finished gold, silver, or diamond pieces.
Diamond Grader / Assorter: Assesses clarity, cut, color, and carat weight of gemstones.
Quality Assurance Manager: Sets company-wide defect standards and manages production guidelines.

Key Skills Required
Deep knowledge of precious metals, gem grading, and setting styles.
Ability to spot microscopic flaws in polishing, soldering, or casting.
Experience with 4Cs diamond standards and hallmarking guidelines.
