Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor/customer ledgers and outstanding follow-ups.
Perform regular bank, customer, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
Handle GST, TDS, TCS, e-invoicing, e-way bills, and other applicable statutory compliances.
Coordinate with external auditors, statutory auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Prepare schedules and supporting documents required for audits and tax assessments.
Assist in budgeting, cash-flow planning, and financial analysis.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure financial records are audit-ready.




Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Support management with accurate financial information and reports for decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification in Finance or Accounting.
Solid working knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience in handling audits and coordination with consultants.
Experience in a manufacturing/trading company will be preferred.
Robust Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic financial analysis.
