Role Description The Scientific Researcher will work full time on-site at Zekko Power’s facility in Mumbai. The role involves designing and executing experiments related to EV charging systems, industrial battery technologies, and IoT-enabled power solutions.

Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, developing test protocols, analyzing performance data, and documenting findings to support product development and optimization.

The Scientific

Researcher will collaborate with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to translate research outcomes into practical design improvements and new features.



The position also requires preparing technical reports, contributing to patent or publication efforts where applicable, and maintaining lab equipment and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electrical engineering, electronics, energy systems, or a related scientific discipline, preferably with experience in power electronics or battery technology.
- Hands-on experience with experimental design, data collection, and statistical or computational analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or similar).
- Familiarity with EV charging technologies, battery management systems, IoT devices, or industrial automation is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, standards, and research publications, and to convert insights into practical design or process recommendations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and presenting research findings.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and systematically in a laboratory or test environment, with strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field; prior research or industry experience in energy or power systems is a plus.
