Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales role located at Ghaniwala’s supermarket in Nagpur. The Sales team member is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them to suitable products and offers. Daily activities include stocking shelves, arranging displays, maintaining cleanliness in the sales area, and ensuring products are properly labeled and priced.

The role also involves handling basic customer queries, supporting billing and checkout processes as needed, and reporting low stock levels or customer feedback to supervisors.



The position requires close collaboration with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously and clearly with a diverse range of shoppers.

- Basic sales and retail skills, including product knowledge, upselling, and assisting customers in making purchasing decisions.

- Organizational and time management skills to manage shelf stocking, store presentation, and daily task completion efficiently.

- Numeracy and cash-handling skills to support billing, verify prices, and manage simple transactions accurately.

- Ability to stand for extended periods, move stock, and work in a fast-paced supermarket environment.

- Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic, with readiness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Prior experience in retail or supermarkets is an advantage but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
