Role Description The Sales Officer role at AU SMALL FINANCE BANK is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar.

The Sales

Officer is responsible for identifying potential customers, promoting banking products and services, and achieving assigned sales targets through direct interactions, field visits, and relationship-building activities. Day-to-day tasks include explaining product features, assisting customers with account opening and loan applications, following up on leads, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, collaborating with branch and operations teams, and adhering to bank policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

- Candidates should possess basic financial and banking knowledge, with the ability to understand and explain retail banking products and services.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customer interactions, documentation requirements, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Relevant experience in field sales, retail banking, or financial services is preferred; fresh graduates with strong aptitude and motivation may also apply.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline is typically required; additional certifications in sales or finance are an advantage.
- Proficiency in local language and working knowledge of English, along with familiarity with basic computer applications (MS Office, email), is beneficial.
