Role & responsibilities

- Ensure site safety rules, HSE procedures and statutory requirements are followed.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments.

- Identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and training for workers and staff.

- Ensure proper PPE usage and compliance at site.

- Monitor work-at-height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting and electrical safety.

- Manage Permit to Work (PTW) and ensure safe work practices.

- Report and investigate incidents, near misses and accidents.

- Maintain safety records, inspection reports and statutory documents.

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and workers to maintain a safe working

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-10 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.

- Robust knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessment and site safety procedures.

- Experience in safety inspections, toolbox talks, PPE compliance and incident reporting.

- Good knowledge of work-at-height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting and fire safety.

- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
