Role Description The Relationship Officer – Current Account is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role focuses on acquiring, onboarding, and managing current account customers, ensuring their banking needs are understood and addressed promptly. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting prospective clients, explaining current account products and services, supporting account opening processes, and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing customers.

The Relationship

Officer will monitor account activity, identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities,



and coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and service issues efficiently. The role also involves achieving assigned sales targets, maintaining accurate records in banking systems, and adhering to compliance, regulatory, and internal policy guidelines.

Qualifications

- Robust Business Relationship Management skills, with the ability to build, grow, and retain current account customer relationships.
- Foundational knowledge of Finance and banking products, particularly current accounts and related services.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Customer Service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and delivering a positive branch experience.
- Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, closing deals, and working towards defined revenue and acquisition targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in banking, financial services, or relationship management roles will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple customer relationships, and use basic CRM or banking software tools.
