Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a hands-on VoIP development background to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of VoIP communication platform projects — CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service), UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service), and CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service). This is not a purely coordinative role — the ideal candidate has previously built VoIP communication systems and now leads teams that deliver them. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, own project timelines, communicate directly with international clients, and ensure projects ship on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end VoIP communication platform (CCaaS / UCaaS / CPaaS) implementation projects from initiation through deployment and post-implementation support.

· Gather business and technical requirements from clients and translate them into actionable plans.

· Prepare project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.

· Coordinate with Development, QA, DevOps, Support, and Infrastructure teams.

· Track progress against milestones and ensure timely delivery.

· Run project kickoffs, status meetings, and client review meetings.

· Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies.

· Manage scope changes and maintain clear project documentation, reports, and dashboards.

· Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production rollout.

· Ensure successful deployment and customer acceptance.

· Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource utilisation.

· Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management.

· Ensure compliance with organisational quality standards and project methodologies.





· Support pre-sales with effort estimation and project planning.

· Leverage AI tools to accelerate requirement analysis, documentation, estimation, and reporting.

Required Technical Skills

· Hands-on development experience with VoIP communication platforms — CCaaS, UCaaS, and/or CPaaS — practical, build-level experience, not just conceptual familiarity.

· Hands-on experience with core VoIP development tools: Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, and Kamailio.

· Robust understanding of VoIP architecture and protocols: SIP, RTP, WebRTC, SBC, and IP telephony.

· Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

· Comfortable using AI-assisted and project-management tools to work efficiently.

Nice to have: exposure to a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and REST API integrations. Project Management Skills

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM certification preferred.

Experience

· 6–7 years of overall IT experience.

· Minimum 3 years in a project management role.

· Prior hands-on VoIP development experience before moving into project management.

· Proven experience managing VoIP communication platform projects (CCaaS, UCaaS, or CPaaS).

· Experience working with international clients (UK, US, Europe, or Africa) preferred.
