Project Fellow Position Available | Central University of Kerala A Project Fellow position is available in the Department of Chemistry, Central University of Kerala (CUK), Kasaragod, Kerala, under a DBT-funded National Network Project.

Research Project Area:

Development and optimization of protocols for the extraction, fractionation, purification, structural characterization, and bioactivity evaluation of bioactive compounds/natural pigments.

Key Research Project Activities

- Extraction and fractionation of bioactive compounds
- Purification using RP-HPLC and chromatographic techniques
- Structural characterization using NMR, FTIR, UV–Vis and Mass/LC-MS
- Experimental protocol development and optimization
- Bioactivity evaluation and data interpretation
- Scientific literature review and research documentation
- Molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations

Eligibility / Preferred Qualifications

- M.Sc./M.S. in Chemistry or a related discipline from a recognized university
- Candidates with CSIR-NET / UGC-NET / GATE qualification will be preferred




- Candidates with research experience in organic chemistry/synthesis, peptide chemistry/synthesis, natural product chemistry, chromatography, spectroscopy, and computational chemistry are encouraged to apply
- Valuable academic record and demonstrated laboratory skills will be an advantage
