About the Role

Transwind Infrastructures Limited is seeking a driven Project Engineer to lead on-ground execution of Signal & Telecommunication (S&T;) works for our ongoing railway and infrastructure projects across India. The role suits an engineer who thrives at site, understands Railway S&T; systems, and can drive work from installation through testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and supervise S&T; works at site — installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning — as per approved drawings, specifications, and railway standards
- Coordinate with Railway/client officials, OEMs, and vendors for approvals, inspections, and material requirements
- Plan and monitor daily site progress against project schedules and report status to project management
- Manage in office manpower, sub-contractors, and material to ensure quality and timely completion
- Ensure compliance with railway safety norms, quality standards,



and statutory requirements
- Maintain site records, measurement books, and documentation for billing and audit
- Troubleshoot technical issues during execution and testing/commissioning stages

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in S&T; project execution (Railway S&T; experience strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of signalling systems, telecom networks, cabling, and testing procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong coordination, site management, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work at project sites across India and travel as required
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with project documentation

Preferred (Added Advantage)

- Exposure to Indian Railways / RailTel / GailTel projects
- Experience with EI, MSDAC, axle counters, or allied signalling systems
