Role Description The Plant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Palghar.
The Plant
Manager will oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
Responsibilities include managing manufacturing workflows, supervising production teams, coordinating maintenance activities, and optimizing resource utilization. The role also involves production planning, monitoring operational performance, implementing process improvements,
and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
The Plant
Manager will collaborate with senior management, supply chain, and quality teams to support cost-effective operations, timely deliveries, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in plant management and plant operations, with experience overseeing daily production activities.
- Strong background in operations management and production planning to ensure effective scheduling and resource allocation.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations within a plastics or related manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in industrial settings.
- Proven leadership skills, including team supervision, performance management, and workforce development.
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Experience with ERP or manufacturing planning software and familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
